WhoIsNedFrankly?
Some people call me Ned. My name is Jay, but Ned's fine. I record most of my work by myself, and I generally play all of the instruments.
I bring in my son, Caleb, for especially tricky drum and guitar parts, but for the most part it's all me.
I use vintage equipment as much as possible. My venerable SK-1 stands guard over my workstation, and my workstation is based on a Kawai K3 that i bought new ($1200) in 1987.
I can't seem to stay in a single genre, musically, so you'll find anything from Dulcimer to Rock to Orchestral. I hope you find something you enjoy. The link on this page is to one of my "Trance" works. Have a listen.

THIS is the drum program (RTAS) that non-drummers need. The user interface is brilliant. Find a pattern you like, drag it onto your midi editor, and voila - drum track that sounds like a drummer, not a keyboard player with a TR909.
